My desire to dye my hair red has evolved into a full on obsession overnight! i just love it so much! i'm just not so sure i could pull it off...

 

i would do it today if i had the money. i also want a little more time to decide on an exact shade. very soon...

i love this song from A Fine Frenzy! its just so dang peppy! the video is pretty cute too. i think alison sudol is so so gorgeous! i love her hair color. i am determined to go red for the fall.

Rainy Day

it has been torrential downpouring since about 2 last night! this rain is severely interfering with my thrifting/crafting plans for the day. oh well, i loved it while i was trying to sleep. sometimes that's the best. perhaps this is the day to start on a new book. i just finished kurt vonnegut's slaughterhouse five last night. i had pretty high expectations because so many people have said it was good. it really was! i definitely recommend it.

Project 365: Days 4 & 5

Day 4: Aviator Dog

My friend Mallory and i took Ruby to get her first set of shots at the Banfield in Petsmart, and while we were there Ruby wanted to try on a pair of sunglasses. They definitely flatter her.

Day 5: Freckle Belly

I caught Ruby sleeping nestled in the sofa crevice on her back this morning. i just had to get a picture! of course, a soon as the flash went off she woke up. still cute. i am absolutely in love with her little freckle-y belly!

'Til Autumn Comes...

Today is muuuuch cooler than it has been here in texas. the past few days have been in the triple digits. it has been raining all night, so today the air actually has a little chill to it. now all i can think about is fall!

i can't wait to not be disgusted by the thought of HOT coffee. i can't wait to drink hot tea and hot chocolate again.

i can't wait to ride my bike down bike trails with trees with changing leaves all along the sides.

 i can't wait to take a blanket and good book to the park by my house. i will just just sit there and read for hours while enjoying my surroundings.

 i can't wait to gather up leaf piles and then jump in them like a five year old.

 i can't wait to wear cute tights with my dresses.

 

just hurry up and get here autumn. we are going to get along just fine.
